Ed Gordon's 7 Step's to Success

I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody. - Bill Cosby

On January 20, 2004 journalist, Ed Gordon, visited my Alma Marta, Clemson University for our annual Martin Luther King Celebration. During his visit he shared his Seven (7) Steps to Success that I keep on my desk. I would like to share these steps with you in hopes that it will encourage and/or motivate you to succeed at all things positive, good, and blessed…

1. Believe you can succeed
2. Don’t let others define your success
3. Don’t judge your success against others
4. Be about it, don’t talk about it
5. Be ready for success
6. PATIENCE
7. Don’t rest on your success
You've achieved success in your field when you don't know whether what you're doing is work or play. – Warren Beatty

Since hearing that speech and writing down those steps I have been moved to share these inspirational words with others. Slowly but surely,(No. 6), I am beginning to see and seize my success. I challenge each of you that read these words to take this message and see the success manifest in your life with proper positive cultivation.
There's no secret about success. Did you ever know a successful man who didn't tell you about it? - Kin Hubbard
